While this is rare, it can cause severe pain, bloating, and constipation. In some cases, the blockage can get so bad that surgery is required to remove the mass.

Excess fiber intake can also lead to excessive gas, cramps, and diarrhea. This happens because fiber absorbs water, and when there’s too much, your body struggles to process it. To avoid these effects, stick to the recommended daily intake of fiber, around 25 grams for women and 38 grams for men, and increase your fiber intake gradually to give your body time to adjust.

Colloidal Silver

In fact, a study found that people who consumed wintergreen oil alongside aspirin were at higher risk of overdosing on either substance. It’s crucial to be aware of the risks of combining essential oils with other medications, as they can intensify the effects and cause harm.

Vitamin C Excess

However, while vitamin C is generally safe, taking it in excessive amounts, particularly more than 1 gram per day, can lead to kidney stones, especially in men. A study found that men who took high doses of vitamin C were twice as likely to develop kidney stones as those who consumed lower doses.

This happens because vitamin C breaks down into oxalate, a compound that can form crystals and accumulate in the kidneys. These crystals can develop into painful kidney stones over time. While this risk is primarily seen in men, it’s still important to avoid overdoing vitamin C supplements.
